I love the sound of your voice. You’re one of the few people I enjoy talking to on the telephone. There are times when my world is upset, but the sound of you talking about your day puts everything back into order. The cracks from the earthquake are lined up and resealed. The zombies stop craving brains. Godzilla goes back into the ocean.
However, what makes me know I love you most is the silence. When there’s nothing to say, the silence doesn’t hang in the air like mylar balloons of awkwardness.
